Our Privacy Policy: Your Data, Our Responsibility

We believe that trust is built on clarity. This document outlines exactly how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you interact with CleanHomy. It’s written for you—not just for lawyers.

GDPR Compliant Secure Processing
A clean, minimalist desk in a modern office setting.

Direct Information

When you book a service, request a quote, or contact us, we collect essential details.

  • Name, email, phone number, and address for service delivery.
  • Payment details (processed securely via Stripe/Partner).
  • Service notes (e.g., pets, allergies, access instructions).

Automatic Data

Our website uses minimal tracking to ensure functionality and security.

  • IP address, browser type, and device information.
  • Pages visited and time on site (via anonymous analytics).
  • No cross-site tracking or behavioral profiling.

Special Categories

We do not collect or process sensitive personal data (e.g., health, ethnicity).

  • Your service notes are kept confidential and encrypted.
  • Photos of work are only taken with explicit client consent.
  • We never sell or share personal data with third parties.

How We Use Your Information: The Service-Centric Approach

We use your data solely to provide and improve our cleaning services. Every data point has a direct, operational purpose.

For a scheduled deep clean in your Şişli apartment, we need your address for the team’s route. For a recurring weekly service, we note your preferred day and any access codes to minimize disruption. Your phone number is used only for sending arrival alerts and service confirmations—not for marketing unless you opt in.

"Our goal is to be a silent partner in maintaining your space. Your data enables the service, not the sale."

— CleanHomy Operational Policy

We retain contact information for the duration of our business relationship. After a service is completed, we may retain basic transaction data for up to two years for accounting and liability purposes, as required by Turkish commercial law. You can request the deletion of your service history at any time.

Privacy Trade-offs & Mitigations

  • 1.
Location Data for Scheduling: Necessary for routing. Mitigation: We only share precise address details with the assigned team lead, not the entire company.
  • 2.
Service Notes on Allergies: Critical for safety. Mitigation: Notes are stored separately from identity data and are accessed only by the cleaning team during the service window.
  • 3.
Payment Processing: Required for booking. Mitigation: We use PCI-compliant payment processors (Stripe). We never store your full card details on our servers.

Security & Data Sharing: Our Protocols

Encryption

Data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256) is encrypted.

Team Access

Only the assigned team lead can view your address and notes for the service.

No Third-Party Sale

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to outside parties.

Service Partners

Trusted payment processors only. They are bound by confidentiality.

Scenario: Booking a Move-In Deep Clean in Kadıköy

1. The Request

Maria, an expatriate, fills the contact form. She lists her new apartment address, notes "cat present, allergies," and requests a Friday slot.

2. The Processing

We store her address for scheduling. The allergy note is tagged internally for team briefing. A unique job ID is created. Payment is processed through Stripe.

3. The Service & Aftermath

The team lead accesses only the essential details. A photo is taken of the completed living room (with Maria's prior consent) for quality assurance. The photo is deleted from internal devices after the job is closed.

4. The Rights

Six months later, Maria emails us using her registered address. She requests we delete her service history. We confirm within 72 hours and comply.
