Founded in 2018 by a team of former hotel housekeeping managers, cleanhomy was born from a simple, overlooked observation: residential cleaning lacked the precision and care of premium hospitality. We bridged that gap.

Our namesake—a portmanteau of ‘clean’ and ‘homey’—is our core mission. We don’t just remove dirt; we leave your space feeling like a sanctuary, meticulously cared for and genuinely welcoming.

We serve the greater Istanbul area, with a deep, practical understanding of the city’s unique climate, dust, and architecture. Every cleaner is a full-time, vetted employee trained in our proprietary methods, ensuring the consistent quality and accountability a franchise model can never provide.

Our Methodology: The 47-Point Sanctuary Protocol

This isn't a vague promise of 'clean'—it's a documented, repeatable system. Think of it as a technical manual for domestic hygiene, divided into four distinct phases to ensure nothing is missed and every surface is treated correctly.

1 Prep

  • • Ventilation check & window opening for airflow.
  • • Surface protection for delicate materials (wood, stone).
  • • Survey of client-specific needs (pets, allergies, fragile items).

Constraint

No ammonia-based products on natural stone surfaces. We use a pH-neutral alternative.

2 Clean (Top-to-Bottom, Dry-to-Wet)

  • • Ceiling fixtures, corners, and high dusting first.
  • • Dusting before vacuuming to capture airborne particles.
  • • Surfaces cleaned in a logical sequence to prevent re-soiling.

Micro-Scenario

For allergy-sensitive clients, we activate the HEPA vacuuming phase on all upholstery and carpets.

3 Detail & Disinfect

  • • High-touch points: handles, switches, railings, remote controls.
  • • Baseboards, crevices, and fixture polishing.
  • • Targeted disinfection based on room usage (bathrooms, kitchens).

The 'swirl mark' on glass. Our technique uses a specific squeegee angle and distilled water rinse.

4 Final Refresh

  • • Odor neutralization (non-chemical, botanical-based).
  • • Linen refresh (vacuuming/upholstery fluffing).
  • • Trash removal and replacement liner placement.
  • • Equipment sanitization before leaving.

Equipment Protocol

Microfiber cloths are color-coded by room to prevent cross-contamination. All tools are sanitized between clients.
